Privacy policy

What we collect
- Your account: email address and password (stored securely by our sign-in provider), username, and an optional display name, pronouns, city and style words.
- Your age: your birth month and year, only to check you’re 16 or older. It’s never shown to anyone, and we never ask for the day.
- Your looks: photos and videos you post, with captions, tags, occasion, season and weather, and a city if you type one.
- Height and sizes: your height (you can hide it from your looks) and your clothing and shoe sizes. Your saved sizes are only ever shown to you; a look shows the sizes you wore in it.
- Activity: who you follow, likes, saves and boards, reports you make, and people you block.
- Usage: the days you open the app, kept for 35 days, so we can count daily active people. After that only totals remain, with no names or ids.
- Notifications: if you allow them, a push token for your phone.
What we don’t collect
Location data is removed from your photos and videos on your phone before they’re uploaded. We don’t use advertising ids, we don’t track you across other apps or websites, we don’t show ads and we don’t sell your data.
Who helps us run Dress Circle
- Supabase stores your account, looks, photos and videos.
- Sightengine checks each photo and video before it’s published, for nudity, violence and possible children.
- Expo and Apple deliver app updates and push notifications.
Your choices
- Hide your height from your looks in Settings.
- Turn off push notifications in Settings or on your iPhone.
- Block anyone; you won’t see each other.
- Delete your account in Settings › Delete account. This removes your profile, looks, photos, videos, tags, follows, boards, likes, saves and notifications. If one of your looks was removed for breaking our rules, a small record (the rule, the date and the reviewer, no images) is kept.
